Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response training in accordance with the OSHA regulations on hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HazWoper) in 29 CFR 1910.120. Individual training courses on 8-hour Annual Refresher Training, 24-hour Training, and 40-hour Initial Training. OSHA Hazard Communication Standard regulations in Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations (29 CFR) details the training requirements of the Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) often called the “federal right-to-know act”. Petroleum Spill Response training on petroleum spill response actions is provided by CEA with numerous live field demonstrations for maximum practical value to participants in the training. Management of Hazardous Waste personnel engaged in the handling and management of hazardous waste must receive appropriate training in accordance with the EPA regulations in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR). Personnel training is also required by the applicable state regulations (e.g., MA DEP regulations 310 CMR 30.000). The training program on the Management of Hazardous Waste includes identification and listing of hazardous wastes, requirements for generators of hazardous wastes, requirements for transporters of hazardous wastes, compliance with the uniform (TSD) facilities. The interfaces between the DOT and EPA regulations are included in the training. Combined HazMat/HazWaste Training on the safe transportation of hazardous materials is based on the DOT regulations in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR). Key topics include DOT hazardous material table, DOT hazard classes, shipping papers, marking labeling and placarding, loading, storage and unloading and emergency response information. Permit Required Confined Space training program covers the regulations, procedures, and practices to work safely in spaces defined by OSHA as permit required confined spaces. This program covers training for the Authorized Entrants, Attendant, and Entry Supervisor. It does not cover the Rescue training part of the standard. Excavation Safety Awareness and MA Trenching Regulations program covers the OSHA regulations, procedures and safe work practices for working in and around excavations, and an overview of the Massachusetts trenching regulations. Mold Awareness presents the basic facts on mold in the workplace including what it is, how it grows, what it looks like, the symptoms of exposure, and covers ways to reduce or eliminate its formations indoors. Other Customized Training Modules can be offered at the customers request based on your specific and regulatory needs. |
