Petroleum Site Remediation

Our petroleum clients range from Fortune 100 companies to regional oil distributors. CEA currently is under contract to manage environmental assessment, engineering, design and site remediation at over 300 retail petroleum sites in New England.

When soil and groundwater contamination exceed the maximum allowable levels, CEA assists its clients by working with local authorities and state environmental officials in assessing the best possible scenario for site closure factoring in the current and anticipated future use of the property. A corrective action plan, which delineates the remediation effort, is developed. The action plan conforms to State and Federal requirements and includes a detailed cost estimate of the cleanup effort.

Our experience includes the design and installation of soil vapor extraction systems, groundwater pump and treat systems, contaminated soil disposal system efficiency monitoring systems, dewatering systems, bio-remediation, and rapid response extraction systems.

All petroleum site remediation conducted by CEA meets or exceeds federal EPA, DOT, OSHA, state, and international compliance requirements. This high level of regulatory competence has resulted in the successful completion of over five hundred projects. Over eighty percent of our oil or petroleum remediation projects are competed within 12 months.
