NHDES ServicesCEA routinely provides its clients professional consulting and contracting services following the guidelines and goals of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES). The NHDES is the oversight body that regulates everything from water quality for water supplies, ecological balance, and recreational benefits, to regulating the emissions of air pollutants, to fostering the proper management of municipal and industrial waste, to managing water resources for future generations. CEA professionals work within each of the three divisions of the NHDES: Air Resources, Waste Management, and Water. Within the Air Resources Division, CEA works on behalf of its clients to achieve maximum reductions in emissions of pollutants, that poses the greatest risk to public health and the environment, as quickly as possible, and as cost-effectively as possible. Within the Waste Management Division CEA works on behalf of its clients to deal with the current issues associated with solid and hazardous waste compliance, permitting and reporting. Our professionals focus on correcting past mistakes by following the standards of various programs to clean up property contaminated by petroleum and other waste, using such tools as soil and groundwater treatment and other restoration incentives. CEA is a licensed hazardous waste hauler in NH and is involved in many stages of solid waste management and regulation, from planning to facility closure and post-closure monitoring. Our services to our clients include tracking the generation and shipping of hazardous waste, permitting and compliance assistance. CEA also provides its clients with hazardous waste remediation consulting and oversees the cleanup of sites contaminated with hazardous waste. CEA proposes the methodology used to remediate the site to its clients and to the NHDES. CEA also provides its clients oil and remediation and compliance programs involving underground storage tanks and above-ground storage tanks, emergency response services for oil spills and releases. We combine our emergency response services with the long-term remediation of petroleum contaminated sites, including project management, and cleanup. Additionally, CEA completes the necessary paperwork for the reimbursement of funds to the owner of petroleum contaminated site. Within the Waste Management Division CEA works on behalf of its clients to ensure the protection of New Hampshire's natural lakes, ponds, waterways and underground drinking supplies. CEA oversees water quality activities, which include drilling and groundwater monitoring activities. CEA also conducts hydrogeological studies; wetland surveys, and assists its clients with industrial discharge issues. |
