Corporate Environmental Advisors Becomes Certified as a Woman Business Enterprise by WBENC

West Boylston, MA (January 21, 2010) - Corporate Environmental Advisors, Inc. (CEA), announced today that the company has been certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).  "We are very excited to receive this national certification.  It complements our WBE certification received last year by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts," said Deborah N. Migridichian, President and Chief Executive Officer of CEA. She noted that many current and potential clients prefer to give business to qualified companies that are certified as minority or woman-owned.  "We listened to our customer base and recognize that this certification benefits them as well as us," she continued.  Ms. Migridichian said that with CEA celebrating 25 years in business during 2010, this certification will help with the company's growth plans for the next 25 years.

Ms. Migridichian first joined CEA in 1988 to handle the financial and accounting aspects of the business.  Over the years, she held positions of increasing responsiblity and became the majority owner in 2004, when she became a Director, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer.  In 2006 she became the sole Director, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer.  She received her B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Merrimack College.

Steven M. Migridichian, one of the original co-founders of CEA and its previous Chief Executive Officer until 2006, currently serves as the company's Vice President for Business Development.  He also manages a related business involving commercial real estate development, leasing and management of former Brownfield sites.

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the the nation's leading third party certifier of women's business enterprises (WBEs) for the private sector.  In partnership with women's business organizations throughout the United States, WBENC provides access to a national standard of certification and provides information on certified women's businesses to purchasing managers through its Internet database at WBENCLink.org.  WBENC certification is recognized and accepted by the majority of the major corporations across the U.S. as well as a number of federal and government agencies.
