CEA Names Ken McDermott as Senior Project Manager

West Boylston, MA (May 5, 2009) - Corporate Environmental Advisors, Inc. (CEA), has named Ken McDermott, CPG, LSP, Senior Project Manager of its Rhode Island office, located in Cumberland.  The announcement was made by Deborah N. Migridichian, President and Chief Executive Officer of CEA.  "We are pleased to have Ken join our team in Rhode Island.  His experience and knowledge in the environmental field will be a benefit to the office and our clients," she said.

Ken McDermott has more than 20 years of experience as an environmental professional, including directing multiple site assessment and remediation projects in Rhode Island and Massachusetts from proposal development through to project completion.  Most recently, he was an associate at Vanasse, Hangen, and Brustlin Inc. where he worked directly with owners, developers, real estate departments, facilities personnel and legal counsel on environmental issues.  Prior to that, he was a principal at Sage Environmental LLC in Pawtucket.  Before that he handled environmental assessment and remediation at properties throughout New England as a project manager at Lincoln Environmental in Smithfield.

Mr. McDermott is licensed as Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts and is a Certified Professional Geologist.  He is a member of the Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals.  He holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Rhode Island.
