HistoryCEA was founded in 1985 in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts by Steven M. Migridichian, a respected geologist who offered environmental consulting with only a handful of employees. The firm expanded over the years in a controlled fashion to meet increasing customer demands and changing environmental regulations. In 1993, CEA established the Drilex division, which specializes in all phases of drilling using cutting-edge equipment technologies. Eventually, the Headquarters was relocated to Hartwell Business Park in West Boylston, a former Brownfields site. Deborah N. Migridichian was elevated to her current position as Chief Executive Officer in 2003 after 16 years as an executive with CEA. In its 23-year history, the firm made a conscious decision to invest in the people, infrastructure, management and project tracking systems to outperform the competition. CEA continues to achieve its goals of steady growth with year-over year increases in revenues and profitability. Today, CEA is one of New England's leading environmental consulting firms with branch offices in Cumberland, RI, Manchester, CT, Concord, NH and plans to open an office in New York.
