Feasibility Evaluations and Remedial Alternatives

CEA carefully reviews all remedial action alternatives and all possible combinations accepted by the appropriate states. This is in order to keep our customers' costs consistent with the amount of contamination on their properties. Examples of these techniques include:

On-site (in-situ) treatment
Off-site disposal
Off-site treatment
No further remedial response action
On-site containment or disposal and monitoring
Elimination or minimization of exposure

After careful evaluation of all alternatives, CEA will determine the most effective treatment for the specific site application and recommend a remedial response alternative.

Plans and specifications for remediation systems are prepared in house by CEA engineers who provide technical expertise for remedial design. Each has a proven track record of project management and budget control through site closure. The criteria implemented in the design of all CEA remediation sites is to install effective, quality systems, while minimizing operating costs and capital expenditure in achieving site-closure; this involves finding innovative ways to keep costs down without compromising quality.
