PROJECT MANAGER, LSP

CEA has an immediate need for an entry level Project Manager with a MA LSP. The successful candidate with be familiar with emergency response, insurance claims, remediation and general site assessment and risk characterization experience.

Ideal candidate must be versatile to engage in field work, prepare proposals, interact with clients and work in a fast paced office environment. Business development and marketing of new clients is desired, but not required. OSHA training and clean driving record is a must.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, LSP

CEA is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager. The primary requirement of the Senior Project Manager will be the ability to generate new business, either with CEA’s existing clients and markets and/or with new/current client relationships in the consulting environment. You will develop, manage, and provide technical oversight of remediation and/or assessment projects in accordance with applicable regulations.

  • Managing projects in accordance with the scope and schedule to ensure profitability.
  • Has major client interaction and financial and resource allocation responsibility.
  • Effectively delegate project tasks to staff, providing specific guidance and oversight as required.
  • Provides senior review and senior approval to documents and deliverables. (Review reports of all levels of staff and provide correction, mentoring or technical insight as required to improve final deliverables.)
  • Select/specify appropriate field techniques for assessment including but not limited to drilling, sampling and analytical methods.
  • Analyze and interpret assessment and remedial data.
  • Develops team and individual goals, objectives, and training.
  • Provides senior project oversight, ensures regulatory/policy compliance, and expert technical input on more complex projects.

Qualifications include a BS or MS degree in Environmental Sciences/related field and a minimum of 15 years industry experience. Professional certification as MA LSP required. Must have familiarity with MA MCP regulations and remediation experience. Candidate must have a clear driving and OSHA record, as well as a pre-employment physical /drug screen and driving record.

Field Services Technician/Laborer - HAZMAT

needed with 1+ years industry experience performing variety of tasks associated with hazardous waste cleanup, equipment operation, site remediation and 24-hr emergency spill response. Valid CDL A w/Hazmat Licenses and OSHA 40-Hour Hazwoper training certificate required.

Field Services Foreman/Supervisor – HAZMAT

needed with 2+ years supervisory and industry experience overseeing environmental jobsites including 24-hr emergency spill response. Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of job site safety and compliance, hands-on field project execution, including scope & budget, accurate and timely completion of paperwork, ensure quality of service provided to the client, and adherence to contract specifications. Valid CDL A w/Hazmat Licenses, Hazwoper and Hydraulics required.

Hydrogeologists/Environmental Scientist/Engineers

openings for individuals with 2 to 5 years experience conducting site assessment, risk characterization, underground storage tank removal, soil excavation & construction project oversight, soil & groundwater remediation.  This position requires strong communication and written skills.  Extensive field work involved.  Candidates must possess a BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science.  Computer abilities, EIT and 40 hour OSHA certification preferred.

Project Manager

 - openings for highly motivated and experienced Project Managers with 7+ years of experience. This person will work in our team-oriented environmental, primarily providing our public and private sector clients with environmental site assessment, risk assessment, remediation and landfill compliance services.  Primary responsibilities include:  Writing proposals, defining project schedules and managing budgets; Managing all aspects of environmental site assessment, risk assessment, remediation, permitting, waste management and other compliance related activities; Perform research, evaluate data, and write reports, technical memoranda and professional opinions; Assign tasks, supervise, train and oversee quality of work of junior level staff; Work directly with clients and regulatory agencies; Monitor work of sub-consultants and Expanding work with our existing client base and developing new business.  The position required a demonstrated thorough knowledge of environmental compliance regulations (the MCP) and regulatory agency policies.  The desired candidates must possess one or more degrees in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science.  Strong organizational, communication and technical writing skills are a must for this position.  Also, candidates must have already completed or have the ability to complete 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.  Professional registration is a plus.  This is an LSP-track position.

Receptionist 

We are seeking an experienced and polished Receptionist who is outgoing and professional, provides outstanding customer service and has proficient computer skills.  This position requires a motivated self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and is able to handle multiple tasks (i.e. phone calls, visitors, data entry, etc.) simultaneously on a regular basis.  This administrative position supports various capacities.  As a highly visible position and first point of contact, our Receptionist communicates with a broad audience; therefore, professionalism at all times is required. 

Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

At a minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years experience as a receptionist in a customer focused environment and operation of multi-line switchboard system and administrative support.

Proficient technology application skills: Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), MS Outlook and Internet Explorer skills.  Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgment and be capable of communicating in a professional manner with a diverse range of individuals; superior phone etiquette skills.

Pro-active; resourceful problem solving skills; self-motivated; detail oriented.

Efficient organization skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure while maintaining composure.

Laborers Construction

General laborers needed to assist in the installation of environmental remediation systems, maintenance and repair of treatment systems, and oil spill response services. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime when requested.
